Bala: ALPHARETTA, GA, United States; Defining oneself is categorizing oneself, therefore I wish to remain someone who is deeply interested in everything that happens around me without attaching any judgemental labels. I love knowledge for its own sake and like to braid different strands of study into a coherent picture of the world. I love collecting physical books, and I am proud of an ever-growing library at home. The visual arts, especially movies, interests me for the same reason I like fiction - it opens up new inner worlds. Of late, my musical interests have leaned towards Indian and western classical music, and the more I listen, my appreciation of it has become refined and sensitive. Love the process of writing. The essays in this blog are a testimony to that.
